NEW RELEASES!!

Need a new knife? How about an neck ID holder?

I just got an email from the folks at TOPS and I am very proud to announce two new products that I get to test out!!

The first one is the SNW-- Signal Neck Wallet. Everyone in my line of work carries some sort of neck wallet. I have one that I've used for years. The cool thing about the TOPS SNW is the 3M reflective material on the back which can be used for quick signaling. It also comes complete with a mini-survival kit!!!

It has:

1. TOPS own Survival Whistle independently tested at 126 decibels.

2. TOPS Pocket size Survival Saw.

3. A liquid filled compass.

4. The TOPS Firestarter with Ferrocium Rod and magnesium.

5. Traditional P 38 military can opener/Firestarter striker.

6. Offset Phillips/flat head screwdriver.

7. TOPS Dog Tag Signal Mirror.

8. LED Flashlight.

9. Lansky Quick Fix Sharpener.

This size was more adapt at being used as a neck, or boot or undercover knife, worn close to the body,

The blades are coated with 'black traction coating' and if requested we have the knives available with a
'Code Yellow' handle, which is highly
visible and can be used either skeletonized or with handle scales, and has good traction in its own right.

First Orders!

Well, I am proud to announce that the first order has been sent in (with some minor administrative adjustment on my side).

Items ordered were:

The Tom Brown Tracker-- with camo blade and Rocky Mountain Grips-- Seen at left.

This knife is just plain awesome. I am very jealous of the new owner!

The second knife is quickly climbing the ladder of my favorite knives: The Blue Otter! There is just something about it that I really, really love. I have two orders for these knives and wish I had kept one for myself!

Everyone is always asking me for a folding knife and I am very glad TOPS has teamed up with one of the best folding knife designers in the world to bring you a top quality, rugged, tactical folding knife! This is the Gent-X folder.

The name seems to imply-- "Gentleman, except...."

In my line of work, we (police officers) often refer to our trusty little pocket clip known as the folder. I am sure the new owner of this knife will appreciate this little devil for many years to come.

There
were a couple of guys that ordered the Sneaky Pete Mini. This cute little cutter is devilishly hidden around your neck and would appear to be an honest set of dog tags. I wear one everyday and it really comes in handy.

I also have a hat coming (for myself) and a Sere Belt, black, which is awesome...even comes with a subdued hook and loop American Flag to put around that silly piece of the belt that always sticks out. Oh, the belt also has a money or document holder on the inside of the belt! Pretty cool!

If you like these knives and want one for yourself, feel free to email me at: topsknives@gmail.com or visit the TOPS KNIVES WEBSITE AT:

Why do I sell knives?

In 2005, I was stationed in Balad, Iraq with the US Army. While there, I began to get myself back into shape. A very unfortunate circumstance developed a friendship that has stood the test of time and will continue to do so. I met "Slats" at the E.R. for LSA Anaconda. He is an Aussie, but still a great guy! He was in charge of the ER there. He was also an instructor of the Floro Fighting System, a Filipino guy that is really good with a blade. I was already chatting online with Ray Floro and Ray said he "has a friend someplace in Iraq." Well, it is a small world indeed. Slats and I began working with each other and it wasn't long until our little class grew.

It's been a long time since that class, but I have been a fan of the edge weapon ever since. BTW-- Take a look at Ray Floro's website. He has developed an awesome video series and can show you how to defend yourself with an ATM card!

Again, thanks for viewing this small blog. I know it's not much, but we'll get there. If you have any questions, comments, or want to place an order, feel free to email me: topsknives@gmail.com

Cheers

Bill
